In this afternoon workshop, Maggie Leininger will lead you through the process of how to use a four-harness loom and weave a piece of fabric that you can use to decorate your home or wardrobe. This class is ideal for beginners with absolutely no experience who want to learn how a loom works. Participants will learn to use a versatile and portable multi-harness loom, how to read a weaving pattern, and how color blending occurs in a weaving. Participants will be able to take home what they've woven during the workshop for future reference.

Reverse drafting is the process of unraveling fabric swatches and diagramming their construction using weave draft notation on graph paper. In this workshop, Emily Winter from The Weaving Mill will lead participants through the process of unraveling swatches of woven cloth and diagramming their construction on graph paper. It’s really fun! Think of it like a material sudoku. You don’t have to be a weaver to get in on this. If you like puzzles of any kind, we think you’ll enjoy it.
